The new D2 Open-Face
Helmet has the same quality construction and
revolutionary styling as the classic D2 (Daytona 2),
but its versatility makes it a perfect fit for many
sports including skiing, snowboarding and bicycling.
Astonishingly light in weight and incredibly strong,
D2 Carbon helmets consist of 60% carbon fiber, 20%
aramid, and are then reinforced with 20% fiberglass.
Finally, the D2 Carbon helmet features a new uni-weave
carbon fiber outer surface. All D2 Carbon helmets
include titanium visor screws plus a high-end TLD SE
Helmet Bag.
The D2's flow-through ventilation system inicludes
four intake and exhaust ports that work in unison to
maximize cool air transfer over the rider's head. A
fully interchangeable, washable, MX-style padded
liner as well as a buckle chinstrap system combine
to create a plush, custom fit. D2 helmets meet or
exceed safety approval rating requirements from CSPC,
ASTM (BMX and downhill), and DE.
